Truth For Life Sermon Synposis
Truth For Life wanted to catalog Alistair Begg's thousands of sermons and make them easier to find.
I worked with the project manager to create a short synopsis of my assigned sermons to connect possible listeners to the right sermons and encourage them to listen.
Sermon synopsis: Our Confidence in the World
In the first century, it would have been easy to assume that the fledgling church was going to fizzle out after its first moments of glory. Much like today, people were doctrinally and morally muddled. As Alistair Begg points out, God’s remedy for confusion was trustworthy then, and it still stands today: the Christian witness needs to be firmly rooted in and convinced of the sufficiency of Scripture for salvation and edification.

Sermon synopsis: On the death of My Father
The death of a loved one can be a devastating event. In this moving sermon delivered shortly after the passing of his father, Alistair Begg reflects on the legacy that he left behind. The memory he imparted was one of family and friendship bound together by his faith. Such an example challenges us to likewise live lives given over entirely to Christ.

Sermon synopsis: A Church Manifesto
Whether on the road, in life, or in church, knowing where you are going is always a good place to start. In this message from Acts, Alistair Begg articulates the vision that has set the course for Parkside Church. When individual believers are edified, he teaches, the Church as a whole will be built up. For Christians to grow, all churches must therefore keep biblical teaching central, seeking to do everything to Christ’s glory.
